Lirhan is so diverce in its climates that at one part of the region, it is warm and comfortable and in the north, there is only snow and ice to be seen. Ursk is across the mountains from the school of Lirigon and it the main city of the Jussacks. These people only seem to serve the Winterking and don't care much for the struggle between the light and the dark. Some of these people are bards and most are unschooled but they are feared by travelers in the North who seek the Wise Kindred.
